The Brave Little Duckling
Once upon a time, in a beautiful green meadow, there lived a little duckling. The little duckling was very small and always felt scared of everything around him. He would often hide behind his mother whenever he heard loud noises or saw big animals.
One day, as the little duckling and his mother were taking a walk, they came across a big, scary looking crow. The little duckling felt his heart pounding in his chest, and he quickly ran behind his mother.
“Please don’t be afraid,” his mother said. “You are strong and brave. You just have to believe in yourself.”
The little duckling didn’t know what his mother meant, but he decided to trust her. He took a deep breath and stepped out from behind his mother.
The crow looked down at the little duckling and laughed. “What are you going to do, little duckling? You are so small and weak!”
But the little duckling wasn’t afraid anymore. He stood up tall and puffed out his chest. “I am small, but I am brave!” he declared.
The crow was taken aback by the little duckling’s bravery. He had never seen such courage in such a small creature. He decided to leave the little duckling alone and fly away.
The little duckling felt proud of himself. He realized that he didn’t have to be afraid of anything as long as he believed in himself.
From that day on, the little duckling was no longer scared of anything. He walked with confidence and bravery, and all the animals in the meadow admired him for his courage.
And whenever he felt a little scared or unsure, he would remember his mother’s words and say to himself, “I am small, but I am brave!”
